If not to eliminate the post consumer waste that is produced from grocery store granola bars, make homemade bars for the wonderful fresh taste! As everyone knows, these satisfying snacks are a great take along food which travel well and fit easily into lunches, purses, or pockets. With a multitude of available recipes, surely there is one or more which will entice your family. Have plenty on hand by making double batches or batches of assorted flavors to choose from. Granola bars freeze well.
