Stuck with the dilemma of where to store everyday items vs. seldom used items is always a problem. Too many “convenient” gadgets and the convenience is lost. Agreeing with Alton Brown,  multi tasking tools are the best choice. Given the option of a lemon juicer,  a simple fork will do. Given the option of a lemon zester, a grater serves the same purpose.  Bread makers eat up precious counter space and a coffee pot for one individual is overkill. Be selective with your kitchen inventory and enjoy everyday items which are easily accessible.
